Usually summers are pretty quiet for ACORN, as our members are very busy in the fields. This year, we’ve managed to get a few hours with some our farmers who are willing to provide farm tours and short workshops.
Starting this week are organic grain field tours, which take place in each Maritime Province. The first one in PEI is tomorrow (23rd), and the NB and NS are next week.
We then start our workshop series in New Brunswick, which includes a farm tour, short workshop and potluck meal. There is no cost, but we do ask for pre-registration.
