No time to spare…

The ACORN annual conference and trade show is only 3 days away and every time I think about it I can feel excited butterflies flutter in my stomach. Well, I choose to believe they are excited butterflies and not a side effect of the stress of preparing.

This will be my first time attending the ACORN conference and since I began working with the organization in October, I have been looking forward  to it. I know it’s going to be a very special experience for everybody involved and I am overwhelmed with the positive response we’ve had to the preparation this year.

I have to say that I think I am most looking forward to the banquet on Friday evening. I have heard and read so many great things about keynote speaker, Marty Mesh, in the last few months that hearing about his experiences in his own words is sure to be nothing short of extraordinary.

Of course there are tons of other things to look forward to at the conference-the Berry Symposium, the various workshop streams, the silent auction, trade show and Seedy Saturday, to name a few and I can’t wait to experience them all! I’m also very excited to put faces to the voices I have had the pleasure of speaking with on the phone in recent months.

See you all in a few days!
