Summer student returns for another season!

20130718_114551After a co-op term via Tantramar High School and a summer of work at ACORN, Lucas Jarche can’t get enough, and is back for another season! Lucas is providing his computer and technical support skills, in addition to taking a lead role with web support and web migration as we prepare to launch the new and improved ACORN website in the fall. Lucas will also help with an overhaul of the member database to better suit the needs of staff and members alike.

Originally from Sackville, N.B. Lucas is now a science student at Dalhousie University in Halifax, N.S. He is entering his second year studying Biochemistry and Microbiology and hopes to pursue a career in Anesthesiology. Outside of school, Lucas is an avid reader and enjoys time-spent learning, gaming, and browsing on his computer.

Lucas is very happy to be back at ACORN for the summer, and hopes to help out the busy office in all their computer-related queries and picking up where he is needed – the recent ACORN newsletter mail-out would not have gone as smoothly if Lucas had not been around!

You can contact Lucas at lucas@acornorganic.org for more information on any of his ACORN-related projects!
